CONTEST RULES

This contest is open to all tennis clubs and facilities that exist within a 75-mile radius of San Francisco and/or 50-mile radius of Carmel. These facilities must have at least 4 existing tennis courts and employ at least one full-time tennis teaching professional. All players age 8 and up are eligible to participate. The winning facility will be determined by the total number of participants it registers at official Play the Clay events between April 1 and June 8, 2009. Official Play the Clay events and registration forms can be found at www.playtheclay.com. The winner will be announced on June 15, 2009.

Lee Tennis, at its own cost, will install for the winning facility a ClayTech Tennis court on top of an existing hard court for the 2010 clay court season. The clay court season is characterized as starting April 5, 2010 and running through the end of the Roland Garros tournament in June. The court will be installed at a mutually agreed upon date prior to the end of March 2010 and will be removed at a mutually agreed upon date prior to the end of June, 2010. Upon removal, Lee Tennis will restore the existing court to the same condition it was in prior to installation. The winning tennis facility will also have the option of purchasing the court for permanent installation at a price to be negotiated by Lee Tennis and the winning facility.

During this promotion Lee Tennis reserves the right to bring players in to try the court and to run up to 4 promotional events on the court while it is installed.

Lee Tennis will work with the facility to find dates and times that are mutually agreeable. In the event that a facility is unwilling to host such events, or mutually agreed upon promotional dates cannot be found, Lee Tennis reserves the right to award installation to another facility of its choosing.
