| I grew up playing on four wonderful red clay courts. As a high school student, I spent every April vacation helping the club's owner roll them, tack down lines, put up nets, sprinkle with water and spread calcium chloride. It was always so exciting to get the courts ready for the season! Then, every summer day, I'd go home covered with sweat and slate dust. My tennis socks were only white when they were brand new.
Now, after 40 more years of playing mostly on hard courts, THIS aging athlete yearns for clay again. I've found the perfect surface: ClayTech! It has all the benefits of clay....it's slow, it's soft, and it's kind to aging joints. The biggest difference between the red clay of my youth and ClayTech is a meaningful one -- there are no bad bounces! It's as consistent as the smoothest hard court with all the benefits of that wonderful red clay.
ClayTech is the best thing to happen for aging tennis players since the oversized racquet! |
