Since the ClayTech surface has been installed here at Forest Lakes, I have seen the benefits of having clay courts on all ages of our membership. We started out by converting 2 of our 6 courts to ClayTech and those courts were always the first ones taken and played on the most. We have since converted the other 4 courts to Claytech and the members are delighted that they don’t have to wait for the ClayTech courts to open up. The benefits to our adults are that we have a surface that can be played on every day and is easy on their bodies. The courts have been great for them and I am always receiving positive feedback on the courts. The junior benefits have been nothing short of amazing. Since my juniors have been taking lessons and playing on the ClayTech, improvement with their footwork, the variety of shots, patience, and their overall game development have been great. The additional benefit is playability in all kinds of weather. I have taught at least 25% more lessons as light rain doesn’t affect it and we can play all winter. Thanks for an excellent surface.
